I work at the Minnesota Historical Society in the Department of Inclusion and Community Engagement. I identify as an American-Korean and cis-gendered female who works with youth and young professionals to diversify the museum field and support an inclusive community.
I facilitate and develop youth programs for diverse high school students including: Mazinaakizige: American Indian Teen Photography Program, MN Teen Advisory Council, Somali Youth in Museums, Asian Teen Art Project, and Summer Tech (for Latino students). I also am the program lead for the American Indian Museum Fellowship, in its seventh year, to encourage undergraduate American Indian students to explore careers and issues related to cultural heritage preservation and museums.
